The self-service concept for fresh towels and toiletries worked perfectly for us, and the added vacuum at reception came in handy. Enjoying breakfast next door was a highlight, especially with the option of a balcony room for some fresh air. Overall, the Roku TV access for streaming was a nice touch too.

Great Stay with Minor Check-In Issues

I enjoyed my 4-night stay in the King Room, but the check-in process through an app was cumbersome and concerning for privacy. The view was stunning, and I loved the peacefulness of the area. Don’t forget to explore nearby dining options for fresh seafood!

I had a pleasant stay at Sonder in Newport Beach. The room was newly renovated, clean, and the self-service cupboard for essentials offered great convenience. Noise from the PCH disturbed my sleep a bit. A lovely location near the beach and dining options.

Sonder's location is a total win! Just a quick stroll and you’re at the beach. Plus, there's a self-service cupboard stocked with fresh towels and coffee—a lifesaver. The culinary scene around here is fire, especially at Eat Chow and TidePoole's.

However, our experience was dampened by the indifferent staff when we raised concerns about the smoke near our room. Not cool, especially with kids around. The automated survey follow-up felt a bit robotic too.

Unexpected delights by the beach

Waking up just steps away from the beach was a dream come true. The self-service cupboard stocked with fresh towels and coffee was a lifesaver for me!
